Missing Out

Is your experience of God as wonderful as you’ve heard Him to be?

 Philippians 4:5b-6 (NIV)

The Lord is near. 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

Prayer is the passage to God’s presence.  

Psalm 145:18 (NIV) The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.

Matthew 6:31-33 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Worry about nothing but pray about everything. 

Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Prayer doesn’t change God; prayer changes you.
